The Day in the Life Database

I’ve recently got involved with a careers website as a bit of an advisor and contributor. The site is The Day in a Life Database, run by my brother, Jim.

The Ugly Koala: Day in the Life Database

The Day in a Life Database is a website devoted to helping people answer that burning question: what should I do with my life? But it’s not your average careers website. Rather than the dry advice we all get at school (you know the type: “what, you are good at maths? Well then you should be an accountant!”), the site explores jobs and lifestyles you’d actually want to have.

Whether you want to be a movie star, a longterm backpacker, a hacker, or indeed an accountant, you’ll find videos and interviews of people who are already doing it. Find out directly from those in the know what their lives are like on a day-to-day basis. Find out how they got there, how awesome (or not) it really is and get top tips on how they make the most of it.

So if you are looking to take that next step, or just wondering if you should, be sure to check out The Day in a Life Database!

P.S: here’s a good page to start from: What should I be when I grow up?
